when the sheet doesn't fit

When the box is too large for your sheet - Rapt hacks

  1. Place diagonally
Lay out a sheet of rapt on a flat surface and place your gift on a diagonal in the center of the sheet.

  2. When you determine the sheet won’t reach enough to tie in both directions.
Put a sheet (normally the next size smaller) on top of the box and running parallel to the edges. You are trying to cover the corners.

  3. Grab the opposing sides that will tie.
Pull the sides over the newly added extra sheet and tie a knot in the middle of the box on top of the extra sheet.

  4. Tie the remaining sides
Take one of the remaining sides and one of our accents (or cut some of the ribbon included)and wrap the ribbon around to the corner of the remaining side. Tie a knot as close to the accent as possible. You want the accent to lay on top of the corner when it is finished. Then pull the tail of the ribbon across. Thread one piece of the ribbon under the first knot you made in the middle of the box. Now pick up another accent and execute the same way on the other side.

  5. Finishing touches
Take one more accent and cover the knot at the top of the box. This will pull the look together. Once you are all Rapt up, go ahead and tuck the corners and flatten the fabric to get your gift wrapped to perfection!
